Admittedly, works by Carl Thomsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Danish the Honeymoon in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,836.99).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 4.400,00 (€ 589,91) und damit 47% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Thomsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Danish the Honeymoon im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.836,99).
