Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Cecilia Edefalk could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary auction, the work "Afrodite" changed hands for SEK 180,000.00 (€ 18,377.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecilia Edefalk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Baby" in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 5,900,000.00 (€ 644,944.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cecilia Edefalk konnte im November 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary wechselte die Arbeit "Afrodite" für SEK 180.000,00 (€ 18.377,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecilia Edefalk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Baby" im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 5.900.000,00 (€ 644.944,77).
