It achieved a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,910.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Camoin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 266,966.00.

Die Arbeit Autoportrait von Charles Camoin kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.910,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Camoin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.966,00.
