Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hong Kong Soho Street by Choi So-Young was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2016. The price achieved of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,048.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 240,000.00. Admittedly, works by Choi So-Young have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Snow Covered Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 226,539.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hong Kong Soho Street von Choi So-Young kam im März 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.048,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Choi So-Young auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Snow Covered Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 226.539,74).
