This price was achieved in the auction Color & Scale: The Estate of Martha Hummer Bradley at Phillips in an online auction and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,800.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Umbrellas (Joint project for Japan and USA) in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 1,706,500.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Color & Scale: The Estate of Martha Hummer Bradley bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christo erzielen.
