Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 China Guardian held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Eros Or Something Other Than Eros(Image Taken In 1969, Printed In 2013) by Daido Moriyama. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,674.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daido Moriyama have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Smash-up from 'Accident', 1969 in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 31,700.00 (€ 40,323.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte China Guardian die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eros Or Something Other Than Eros(Image Taken In 1969, Printed In 2013) von Daido Moriyama zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.674,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daido Moriyama auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Smash-up from 'Accident', 1969 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.700,00 (€ 40.323,79).
