Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Daniel Richter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2020. In the Swiss Made UNLOCKED auction, the work Untitled, 2007 sold for CHF 15,000.00 (€ 14,107.83) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Richter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tarifa in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 1,162,500.00 (€ 1,290,857.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Richter erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Zürich einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Made UNLOCKED wurde die Arbeit Untitled, 2007 für CHF 15.000,00 (€ 14.107,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Richter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tarifa im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.162.500,00 (€ 1.290.857,09).
