It achieved a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,504.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Diane Arbus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A box of ten photographs in May this year with an auction result of USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 946,123.52).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.504,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Diane Arbus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A box of ten photographs im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.008.000,00 (€ 946.123,52).
