Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Eddie Martinez was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction auction at Phillips in March this year. The price achieved of USD 16,510.00 (€ 15,185.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eddie Martinez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work High Flying Bird in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 15,725,000.00 (€ 1,823,808.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Eddie Martinez wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.510,00 (€ 15.185,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eddie Martinez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit High Flying Bird im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.725.000,00 (€ 1.823.808,88).
