Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tribute by Edgar Plans was sold in the NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 308,809.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 240,000.00 – 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edgar Plans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Juanín, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tribute von Edgar Plans wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 308.809,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 240.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Edgar Plans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Juanín beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35) versteigert wurde.
