The »bidding war« ended at CHF 15,600.00 (€ 10,508.12), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Edward Wolfe have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,053.27) in July 2006 for the work Portrait of Curtis Thomas.
