Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Hand & Dandelion Head; And 6 Further Hand Studies by Eileen Bell for GBP 180.00 (€ 265.74). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eileen Bell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work House Boats At Low Tide in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 3,011.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hand & Dandelion Head; And 6 Further Hand Studies von Eileen Bell für GBP 180,00 (€ 265,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eileen Bell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit House Boats At Low Tide im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 3.011,68).
