In October 2000 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A Girl In A Pink Dress Sewing By The Window by Emil Pap. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,997.50 (€ 3,414.30), 66% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emil Pap - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,640.37).

Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Girl In A Pink Dress Sewing By The Window von Emil Pap zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.997,50 (€ 3.414,30) und damit 66% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Emil Pap mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.640,37) versteigert wurde.
