Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2000 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A lady in pink by Emil Pap. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,997.50 (€ 3,342.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emil Pap - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,640.37).

Im September 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A lady in pink von Emil Pap zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.997,50 (€ 3.342,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emil Pap mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.640,37) versteigert wurde.
