Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2002 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Trying on the hat by Emil Pap. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 763.75 (€ 1,254.85). Admittedly, works by Emil Pap have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior in October 2000 with an auction result of GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,640.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trying on the hat von Emil Pap zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 763,75 (€ 1.254,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Pap auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.640,37).
