In February 2000 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work A reclining female nude by Emil Pap. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,840.00 (€ 3,011.01), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emil Pap - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 5,640.00 (€ 9,640.37).

Im Februar 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A reclining female nude von Emil Pap zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.840,00 (€ 3.011,01) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Emil Pap mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Ladies Relaxing In An Interior beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für GBP 5.640,00 (€ 9.640,37) versteigert wurde.
