Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ena Swansea could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Summer Edition auction, the work Two Men changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,667.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ena Swansea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Above the Ocean in a Storm". in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 28,380.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ena Swansea konnte im Juli 2014 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Summer Edition wechselte die Arbeit Two Men für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.667,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ena Swansea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Above the Ocean in a Storm". im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.380,00.
