In April 2016 Christies in Milan held the auction Milan Modern and Contemporary, which included the work Accanto Al Bianco by Ettore Spalletti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 76,800.00 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ettore Spalletti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Azzurro, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 201,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Accanto Al Bianco von Ettore Spalletti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 76.800,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ettore Spalletti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Azzurro beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 201.600,00 versteigert wurde.
