In April 2018 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Nu (Nude) by Eugène Leroy. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,000.00 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eugène Leroy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 94,500.00.

Im April 2018 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nu (Nude) von Eugène Leroy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugène Leroy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 94.500,00.
