This artwork by Eugène Zak achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2014. In the Interiors auction, the work Le couple sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,307.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène Zak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Ondine Et Le Pifferaro in October 2019 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Zak erzielte im August 2014 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Le couple für USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.307,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugène Zak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Ondine Et Le Pifferaro im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
