Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition À La Poupée by Fernand Léger was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October last year. It achieved a price of EUR 693,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernand Léger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Contraste de formes in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 70,062,500.00 (€ 58,885,947.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition À La Poupée von Fernand Léger kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 693.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernand Léger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Contraste de formes im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 70.062.500,00 (€ 58.885.947,22).
