Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Filippo de Pisis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2017. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper auction, the work Composizione III con scritta Sabaudo sold for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 95,216.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Filippo de Pisis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ponte sulla Senna sold at auction in May 2001 with the realized price of ITL 196,000,000.00 (€ 185,452.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Filippo de Pisis erzielte im März 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Composizione III con scritta Sabaudo für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 95.216,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Filippo de Pisis; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ponte sulla Senna im Mai 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von ITL 196.000.000,00 (€ 185.452,40).
