Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spring Showers by Fung Yat-Fung was sold in the FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,780.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fung Yat-Fung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work SPARKLING PLUM BLOSSOMS, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,546.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spring Showers von Fung Yat-Fung wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.780,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fung Yat-Fung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit SPARKLING PLUM BLOSSOMS beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.546,64) versteigert wurde.
