Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Radio Clash, 1981 by Futura 2000 was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,812.50 (€ 4,233.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Futura 2000 achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November last year with an auction result of USD 302,400.00 (€ 292,938.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Radio Clash, 1981 von Futura 2000 kam im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.812,50 (€ 4.233,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Futura 2000 erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 302.400,00 (€ 292.938,10).
