Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gary Hume achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in July 2020. In the Heatwave auction, the work Portraits sold for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,125.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gary Hume achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vicious in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 410,500.00 (€ 498,035.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gary Hume erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Heatwave wurde die Arbeit Portraits für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.125,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gary Hume erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vicious im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 410.500,00 (€ 498.035,27).
