The work Fanciulla Iridescente by Giacomo Balla was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,989.70), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).
