In May 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Motivo per mattonella con linee di velocità e di spazio by Giacomo Balla. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Motivo per mattonella con linee di velocità e di spazio von Giacomo Balla zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
