Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studio di volumi di bandiere by Giacomo Balla was auctioned at Christies in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 35,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 37,800.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Studio di volumi di bandiere von Giacomo Balla kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 37.800,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
