Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le Muse Inquietanti by Giorgio de Chirico was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2006. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 700,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 790,350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giorgio de Chirico achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Pomeriggio Di Arianna (Ariadne’S Afternoon) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 15,890,400.00 (€ 13,643,341.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Muse Inquietanti von Giorgio de Chirico kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 700.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 790.350,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giorgio de Chirico erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Pomeriggio Di Arianna (Ariadne’S Afternoon) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.890.400,00 (€ 13.643.341,63).
