In March 2014 Christies in New York held the auction BARRY FRIEDMAN: THE ECLECTIC EYE Evening Sale and Day Sale, which included the work Le Baiser D'Hélène by Gustav Adolf Mossa. The price achieved of USD 60,000.00 (€ 43,550.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le Baiser D'Hélène is the most expensive artwork by Gustav Adolf Mossa that we have observed at auctions so far.
