Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work In Der Wüste by Hannah Höch was worth EUR 275,000.00 to a buyer in May 2021. This price was achieved in the auction The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Hannah Höch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frau und Saturn in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 1,085,000.00 (€ 1,235,612.57).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit In Der Wüste von Hannah Höch war einem Käufer im Mai 2021 EUR 275.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannah Höch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frau und Saturn im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.085.000,00 (€ 1.235.612,57).
