Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Butterfly City by Hao Liang for CNY 11,700.00 (€ 1,689.70). This price was achieved in the auction Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art at Christies in Shanghai and was even below the estimate range of CNY 800,000.00 – 16,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hao Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poison Buddha 2 in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 16,975,000.00 (€ 1,859,839.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Butterfly City von Hao Liang für CNY 11.700,00 (€ 1.689,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Shanghai erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 800.000,00 – 16.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hao Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poison Buddha 2 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.975.000,00 (€ 1.859.839,48).
