Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec could be acquired at Bonhams in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures and Prints Online auction, the work Polaire changed hands for GBP 153.00 (€ 174.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Blanchisseuse in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 22,416,000.00 (€ 19,012,722.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures and Prints Online wechselte die Arbeit Polaire für GBP 153,00 (€ 174,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Blanchisseuse im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.416.000,00 (€ 19.012.722,65).
