The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,250.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman de Vries achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Random Objectiviation. "V 70 - 25 B" in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 163,250.00 (€ 182,120.55).

Die Arbeit From Earth: Gomera Lomo Loco 284 von Herman de Vries wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.250,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman de Vries erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Random Objectiviation. "V 70 - 25 B" im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.250,00 (€ 182.120,55).
