Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Huang Tu-Shui achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Modern Asian Art auction, the work Mother And Child sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,122.88) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Huang Tu-Shui; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Buffalos sold at auction in April 2016 with the realized price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 26,757.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Tu-Shui erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Mother And Child für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.122,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Huang Tu-Shui; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Buffalos im April 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 26.757,93).
