This artwork by Imi Knoebel achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June this year. In the Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY auction, the work without title sold for EUR 10,560.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Imi Knoebel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Revolver I in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 434,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Imi Knoebel erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 10.560,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Imi Knoebel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Revolver I im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 434.500,00.
