Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work North African fishermen on the shore by Jacob Jacobs. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,008.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Jacobs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Belgian the Arrival Of Sultan Abdülmecid At The Nusretiye Mosque in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 154,488.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit North African fishermen on the shore von Jacob Jacobs zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.008,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Jacobs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Belgian the Arrival Of Sultan Abdülmecid At The Nusretiye Mosque im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 154.488,44).
