The price achieved of GBP 657.25 (€ 986.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by James Lawrence Isherwood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rain and Sun, Wigan in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,450.45).
