Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunset by James Lawrence Isherwood was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,249.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by James Lawrence Isherwood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rain and Sun, Wigan in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,450.45).

Die Arbeit Sunset von James Lawrence Isherwood kam im August 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 840,00 (€ 1.249,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
