In November this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Surrealism Beyond Reality, which included the work Personnage debout by Jane Graverol. The »bidding war« ended at USD 70,350.00 (€ 64,493.95), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jane Graverol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le trait de lumière in March this year with an auction result of EUR 579,975.00.

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Surrealism Beyond Reality durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personnage debout von Jane Graverol zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 70.350,00 (€ 64.493,95) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jane Graverol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le trait de lumière im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 579.975,00.
