Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art 1, which included the work Entre Lace,1957 by Jean-Paul Riopelle. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 111,528.00 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Paul Riopelle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 4,882,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art 1 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Entre Lace,1957 von Jean-Paul Riopelle zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 111.528,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Paul Riopelle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.882.500,00.
