It achieved a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,762.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Jean-Pierre Cassigneul have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dans La Roseraie in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 893,000.00 (€ 656,328.09).

Die Arbeit La fenêtre ouverte von Jean-Pierre Cassigneul kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.762,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Pierre Cassigneul auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dans La Roseraie im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 893.000,00 (€ 656.328,09).
