Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Impressionniste et Moderne, which included the work Portrait De Femme by Jean Souverbie. The price achieved of EUR 11,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean Souverbie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Sommeil in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 105,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait De Femme von Jean Souverbie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Souverbie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Sommeil im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 105.850,00.
