Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
The work Hey Mate by Joan Cornellà was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,663.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).

Die Arbeit Hey Mate von Joan Cornellà kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.663,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
