The »bidding war« ended at GBP 216,000.00 (€ 320,212.24), 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).

Die Arbeit Painting for the ballet 'Jeux d'Enfants' von Joan Miró wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 216.000,00 (€ 320.212,24) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
