Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bonsai by Jonas Wood was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,954.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonas Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Tables With Floral Pattern in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 6,510,000.00 (€ 5,338,691.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bonsai von Jonas Wood kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.954,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonas Wood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Tables With Floral Pattern im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.510.000,00 (€ 5.338.691,16).
