The work Structural Constellation Sv-13 by Josef Albers was worth EUR 32,500.00 to a buyer in December 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Albers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homage to the Square in May this year with an auction result of USD 2,954,000.00 (€ 2,772,667.54).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Albers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homage to the Square im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.954.000,00 (€ 2.772.667,54).
