Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Labubu Ride With Pride Skateboard Decks (Set Of Three) by Kasing Lung was sold in the Contemporary Showcase: Kawaii Pop auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2021. The price achieved of HKD 4,410.00 (€ 466.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kasing Lung achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Otto Ule (Painted In 2018) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Labubu Ride With Pride Skateboard Decks (Set Of Three) von Kasing Lung wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Showcase: Kawaii Pop bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 4.410,00 (€ 466,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kasing Lung erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Otto Ule (Painted In 2018) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17).
