In March this year Phillips held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included the work Swatch Watch Lite-blue by Katherine Bernhardt. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,430.00 (€ 10,513.25), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katherine Bernhardt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 373,972.60).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swatch Watch Lite-blue von Katherine Bernhardt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.430,00 (€ 10.513,25) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katherine Bernhardt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 373.972,60).
