Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Katherine Gili could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Tambourine changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 609.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katherine Gili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tempracata in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,948.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Katherine Gili konnte im Juli 2012 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Tambourine für USD 750,00 (€ 609,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katherine Gili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tempracata im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.948,18).
